ACCREDITATION FOR TRAVEL AGENTS
Submission of Visa application and collection of passports can be done by the following:

1) Applicant.
2) Travel Agents.
3) Representatives.

In case a representative comes to submit the application or collect the passport S/He needs to carry a photo id and an authority letter from the applicant.

Applications accepted at The Austria Visa Application Center will be couriered on the same day to the Embassy of Austria, New Delhi.

Applicants can instantly track the status of their application by clicking on There will be no need to follow up with the Embassy or the Call Centre to ascertain when the passport will be returned

Applicable Charges
Please note the visa fee for applicants applying to The Austria Visa Application Centre in Colombo is payable in Cash. Please click on Visa Fees & Service Charges for details on payments.

There will be a service charge of LKR 8216 by VFS (inclusive of Taxes) levied per application over and above the visa fees. The service charge & Visa fee is payable in cash at the time of submitting your application.

Step 1
Only short-term visa applications are accepted at the VFS application centre

Before applying, please ensure you are very clear on your ‘purpose of visit’ – do remember we are here to assist and help you through the entire visa application process but are not permitted to advise or guide you on choosing a visa category. Since our work is primarily administrative in nature, we have no say on whether you will be granted a visa and how much time it will take to process, as this is entirely the prerogative of the Consulate / Embassy of Austria to decide on.
